The Injustice Of IPP Campaign is a grassroots, family led movement challenging the ongoing harm caused by Imprisonment for Public Protection (IPP) sentences. Abolished in 2012, IPP continues to imprison and recall thousands of people indefinitely, leaving many serving years beyond their original tariff under a sentence that no longer exists in law.
Injustice Of IPP Campaign have organised a protest on the 15th April 2026 at 11am outside parliament. Please show your support for IPPs, and come along to this important protest.
The campaign’s main goal is to secure retrospective justice for all people still serving or recalled under IPP. They are calling for and arrange:
Retrospective abolition and resentencing of all IPP prisoners.
They have organised public protests in 2025, and have planned protests and events in 2026, to bring about public awareness and to fight the injustice that IPP prisoners are suffering to an abolished sentence.
Raising public awareness and building political pressure in Parliament, the media, and wider society to recognise the harm caused by IPP and demand change.
